Evoke - Graduate Degree Show 2022
EVOKE is an exhibition of graduate work from BA (Hons) Graphic Communication and BA (Hons) Art Practice at University Studies at West Suffolk College. The diverse body of work on show this year is a culmination of the student’s final year’s work demonstrating their creativity, curiosity and talent as designers and artists. The degree show provides the opportunity for potential employers, applicants, friends, family and members of the general public to view the students work first hand in our bespoke gallery space. The exhibition will take place in the main hanger space of the University Studies and Professional Development Centre.
The show will be open from 08 June 2022 and a Private View night will take place on 09 June from 5pm. Refreshments and nibbles will be available. If you are unable to make it to the opening night, the exhibition will still be available to appreciate during our open event on Saturday 25 June 2022 where you will also get a chance to talk to our lecturers about what we have on offer here at University Studies. We have worked hard to shape our degrees so that they form a gateway into the Creative Industries and give our graduates the skills and experience to stand out from the crowd. We do this by exposing our students to as much industry content via live briefs and internships and provide them with the opportunity to work alongside the best industry experts and other like-minded creative specialists. Many projects will combine skills and collaboration across courses. Students are able to work with current technology in real world environments and with industry professionals to help them to realise their career aspirations.
The Creative Technologies Department at University Studies has a great track record of getting our students into roles with media household names and an even better track record of bringing graduates back to advise and support our students so they too can make their mark in the world.
All of the academic staff in the Creative Technologies Department are extremely proud of our student’s fantastic achievements this year, we hope you will be impressed too. We also wish all our students every success in their future endeavours and their careers that lie ahead.
A big thankyou goes out to all our guest lectures and industry mentors as well as employers and sponsors who have supported the students on our degree programmes this year.
