HNC/D Construction and the Built Environment
The HNC Construction and the Built Environment programme is offered within the Construction and Engineering management department in the Faculty of Professional Technologies at West Suffolk College. The course is designed to provide the learner with the opportunity to explore, develop and expand their construction knowledge, through projects, simulations and presentations. The emphasis will be on individual participation. You will be encouraged to carry out research and work with others as part of a team. You must demonstrate an ability to work independently without supervision, solve problems and interact effectively with individuals and groups in the work situation.
You will complete the course of 8 units by doing 2 each semester of 15 weeks.
