Access Counselling
Welcome to Access to Counselling.
The Course is designed to give students a solid foundation of theory and skills on becoming a counsellor. This allows for a progression route onto our Counselling Degree. Whilst on the course you will develop your knowledge of counselling theory and the key skills used in counselling practice.
Students will also develop, their academic skills throughout the course. Lectures and practical elements of the Course will help enhance student’s personal development and growth. Upon starting the course, you will be expected to maintain a personal learning journal, focusing upon your thoughts, feelings and emotions. You will be required to make at least a minimum of two entries per week. This is a significant part of self-awareness and self-development.
