Alfie Vaughan – works on big hitting ad campaigns

24 year old Alfie Vaughan went to One Sixth Form College (ONE) in Ipswich. He describes his memories of One as being ‘brilliant’.

Alfie said: “I absolutely love what I'm doing now but I would also quite happily live those two years at college on loop forever.”

Today, Alfie works in London for a visual effects (VFX) company called Coffee and TV. Previously he worked for the Mill for five years, the company behind the iconic ‘Moz the Monster’ John Lewis TV ad campaign.

On being asked what trinket of advice he would give to others. Alfie said: “I've always benefited greatly from going against the grain. If you do what everyone else is doing, it's very difficult to stand out. When all my friends went to university, I decided to do an apprenticeship and my career has benefited enormously from that decision. When I left college and similar situations after that - where I made a conscious decision to do something I didn't see anyone around me doing – it has always worked out for the better.”

“After this experience, I’m going to carry on with what I’m doing and I’d love to get in to pop session stuff.
