Extended Reality Lab

The Eastern Education Group are pleased to announce their Extended Reality Lab (XR Lab) combining Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality technologies and environments. This government funded, purpose-built facility enables students to access next-generation XR facilities. The facility utilises innovative teaching and learning methods to ensure students are at the forefront of this emerging area and prepared for growing business needs in line with the predicted growth across all industry sectors.

The UK is considered to be a leader in the development of the augmented and virtual reality market – a global market that is estimated to reach a value of approximately *£130 billion in 2023. In line with this, the XR Lab serves to show what XR can do for a business and strives to give student opportunities that in turn support the creation of high-value employment opportunities within the region and beyond.
